Volvo S60 is a compact executive car built by Volvo that was first introduced in 2000, superseding the Volvo S70. It uses the Volvo P2 platform, which is shared with the Volvo V70 (until MY 08), Volvo S80 (until MY 07) and Volvo XC90. The Volvo S60 is the first Volvo to feature a more fluid look, designed by Peter Horbury. Introduced in 2001, it supersedes the Volvo S70. As of 2007, it comes in five trim lines, S60 2.4, S60 2.5T, S60 2.5T AWD, S60 T5 and the high performance 300-horsepower S60 R. The available 2.4 runs on conventional petrol as well as bi-fuel methane, and Volvo boasts low emissions for all available trims. The S60 continues the Volvo tradition of safety, comfort and longetivity.
