This is the newer prettier gasoline powered 70 hp Smart Car, not the old diesel one. It's very peppy, easy to drive and park with it's 5 speed automatic that can be also be shifted manually for extra fun. It doesn't feel small at all, when driving it it feels more like being in an SUV. It can quickly reach it's top speed of 140 km/hr. There are many safety features including the tridon safety cell (like being contained in a nutshell) ABS (anti-lock braking system) stability (skid) control, traction control and tire pressure monitoring. It has power door locks, power windows, heated seats, power heated mirrors, climate control A/C, just set the temperature and it heats or cools as required. The heater is quick and the car is toasty warm in no time. In summer the A/C is very effective, there is no need to even think of driving with the windows down unless you want to. The european quality seats are VERY comfortable on my wife's back. The trunk opens from the remote control and is very roomy. There is extra storage inside the tailgate and the passenger seat also folds down flat for carrying larger objects. The yellow body panels are all impact resistant plastic that will never rust or dent and the color goes all the way through! This car has been to the coast of Maine and to Indianapolis and is great for long trips as well as city driving.
